Prelude exhibition 2: Ludwig van Beethoven and Johann Wolfgang Goethe

The Prelude events fall within the exhibition period and will take place before the main exhibition in Cologne. Your pictures do not have to be related to the event theme. You can choose your subject freely. Our prelude exhibitions (bonus events) have a special theme, usually paying homage to a famous personality, which will serve as the basis for the event’s online PR in our German online journal. This will include several blog posts about the popular theme, which we will share in connection with the list of the participants. In addition, a chapter will be included in our art book on these topics.

4th 'Enter into Art' International Installations 2017-18

We are pleased to announce the second prelude exhibition of our event period 2017-18::

115 participants from 39 countries
(Link to the list with the participants in English.)

More information about the concept of our Prelude themes!

The exhibition takes place from November 12 – December 3, 2017 in our Studio Gallery in Bonn-K√∂nigswinter with the following PR-Theme:

  • Ludwig van Beethoven and the poems of Johann Wolfgang Goethe

Bonn is the birthplace of Ludwig van Beethoven. He has set to music many poems by Johann Wolfgang Goethe. Beethoven had already intensively dealt with the work of Goethe in his youthful years in Bonn – long before their first and last meetings in person. The setting of Mignon's song, "Kennst du das Land" (“Do you know the country where the lemons bloom...”), op. 75, No. 1, is especially famous.

Similar to the Prelude exhibition in Bad Breisig in August 2017, we will publish several blog posts on the topic as well as the poems of Johann Wolfgang Goethe. In this way, the exhibitions are continued as an online event and thereby gain a lasting readership:

Taking place in our Studio Gallery "Apollinaire", the event also aim to convey our idea of a cozy art space (the lifestyle concept "living with pictures"), which we also communicate through our art book. Please have also a look to our Prelude event about Guillaume Apollinaire in Christmas time 2016 in the Studio Gallery.

We are sure that our exhibition concepts and online events will be contribute for lasting interest to the images of our participants from around the world.

We are looking forward to your participation! Please download the flyer for your concerns!
