Exhibition Cologne-Kalk: Weltreise mit Kunst - A Fine Art Journey

From March 9th to April 3rd, 2020, the international exhibition "Weltreise mit Kunst - A Fine Art Journey" will take place in the light-flooded town hall foyer of Cologne-Kalk. It will feature a display of small-format pictures by 33 artists from 26 countries and five continents with special presentations by the award-winning Hyun-JIN Kim from Taiwan, and Cleo Wilkinson from Australia. In addition, 98 large-format pictures from 32 countries will be shown in an on-screen presentation, which will be published in the art gift book A Fine Art Journey.

The international Enter into Art exhibitions are a blend of art, meditation and poetry. Since 2015, the exhibitions have been organized and curated by Kurt Ries and Gabriele Walter, who also publish art and gift books.

Embedded in a context of color and meditation, art lovers travel to an international art landscape in the small picture exhibition to find magic in the form of individual art pieces. On the other hand, the on-screen project A Fine Art Journey, with its large-format images, focuses on the topic of travel in order to reflect the sensitive view of artists around the world.

In addition to framed small-format pictures, all of the images in A Fine Art Journey will be displayed on a screen for the four-week duration of the exhibition. The screen will run on a loop during opening hours and each picture will be displayed for about 30 seconds. In addition to the on-screen presentation, all those who contributed to the book will be listed. Small repro pictures will be available as giveaways, if the artists have sent them.

At the exhibition will be also presented the new 'Enter into Art' gift book Excellent Art. The book is expected to be published by the end of March at the latest.

More information about the exhibition will be published after the opening on our archiv website: (list of participants and photos of the exhibition).
